The Aqadutto • Ciclovia AQP
(gentle)
The Ciclovia dell'Acquedotto Pugliese is a 500 km cycling and hiking/walking path that follows the route of two historic aqueduct pipelines built in only 6 years beginning in 1905. It was built to carry water to drought-stricken Puglia from Irpinia in a district of the Apennine Mountains around Avellino, a town in Campania, South Italy, about 50 km east of Naples
Park in the Parrocchia Santa Maria Beata Vergine del Monte Carmelo church parking lot here:

Either cross the street and walk to your heart’s content along the aqadutto walking/cycle path in the direction of Locorotondo OR join the path at the edge of the parking lot and walk in the direction of Ostuni/Ceglie through gorgeous trulli-lined meadows, across and early 20th century arched bridge and take in the breath-taking hilltop views.

Sanctuary of Sant'Oronzo & Fonte Miracoloso
(moderate)
This moderate walk (moderate uphill trail walking) of about 45 min each way brings you to a fantastic hilltop vantage point for both the murge and the olive-grove-filled plain below spreading to greet the Adriatic.
At the summit of your ascent is the Sanctuary of Sant'Oronzo . . . the patron saint of Ostuni . . . and the Miracle Fountain, Traditionalists have always believed that clear water gushed intermittently, even during the hot summer seasons, by the miracle of Saint Oronzo who, thirsty, would have hit the rock with a stick, giving rise to the phenomenon.
Located 5min by car from Ostuni's Centro Storico, park your car at Parco Archeologico S.M. di Agnano (Google Maps):
GPS 40.74851982695939, 17.547638348373162
Then walk 40 meters down the track and take the first trail on your left.
